What We Do
We are the Marketing Bureau for Community Newspapers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and NWT/NU.
It has become quite obvious to us over the course of hundreds of meetings with our clients, surveys and focus groups that the biggest reason community newspapers aren't being planned is the challenges that are involved in planning the largest mass media in the country.
AdWest Marketing Inc. is built to become more than just another 'Rep House'. 'Placing and booking campaigns' agencies have told us, is not the problem. It's everything that happens in the 10 steps before that. As has been pointed out many times to us, most community newspaper opportunities die on the drawing board, long before the services of a 'Rep House' or 'Sales Rep' are even required.
While AdWest still create harmonized rate cards, standardized column widths and modular ad sizes on behalf of 250+ newspapers, our focus goes much deeper than that. We strive to provide our clients with any and all information that in the past might have taken you weeks to gather and we believe that this approach to marketing community newspapers is what is required in this day and age of media planning.
