Google Earth

AdWest Marketing is extremely excited about the potential that Google Earth offers in helping Media Planners and Buyers to understand the geographic links between their clients and physical area served by community newspapers.

Mapping and geo-targeting have quickly become one of the core porducts offered by AdWest, and we're continually looking for ways to enhance the delivery of those services. Google Earth adds a dimension to the data that is difficult to relate using conventional geo-political maps.

The satellite imagery pioneered by Google provides a perspective where planners can clearly see the composition of individual newspaper coverage areas inlcuding: coverage area boundries, circulation overlap, crop production, physical community size and even the roof top of the retail location the plan is for.
